THIEVES stole a car, framed football shirt, a TV, iPhone and iPod in a burglary on Walter Street in Stockton, between 10.30pm on Thursday and 6.30am on Friday.

The distinctive framed red American football shirt had "Great Britain" on the back and was of sentimental value. A 40 inch Bauhn TV, a blue and white iPod, a Sony docking station, a blue iPhone 5 with a broken screen and a black Nissan Juke were also stolen.

The car has been recovered but the keys are still missing.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on bail pending further inquiries, and a 46-year-old man has been charged with burglary and appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning, (Tuesday).
