A MAN suffered leg injuries after a stabbing incident on Sunday, June 26.
Police attended a property in Shildon, County Durham, just before 4.30pm, after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed.
On arrival, they found an 18-year-old male who had sustained an injury to his leg.
He was treated at Bishop Auckland Hospital for injuries which are not thought to be serious.
A search of the area, supported by the police helicopter, was carried out, but no arrests have yet been made.
It is believed that those involved in the incident are known to each other.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information that might help officers investigating the incident is asked to contact Durham Constabulary.
