POLICE investigating a hit-and-run incident which occurred last month have launched a renewed appeal to trace the vehicle involved.
A 26-year-old man was hit by a vehicle in Barnard Castle, County Durham, in the early hours of Monday, May 23, as he was crossing the car park of the Morrisons store, in the town.
The man, who comes from Scotland, had just left Barnard Castle Working Mens’ Club, on Galgate, when he was struck.
He received treatment for a broken arm afterwards.
So far, officers have been unable to trace the vehicle involved and are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
