POLICE have urged a driver to hand himself in after an alleged incident in a country park.
Officers from Cleveland and Durham Road Policing Unit posted a photo of the black saloon resting against a fence in Hardwick Park, near Sedgefield on Friday.
"You might recognise this car from a post a week ago," a spokesman wrote. "The same driver, who is disqualified, crashed the vehicle in Hardwick Park today and made off.
"We know exactly who you are, so it's probably best you hand yourself in!"
The officer said the same car was stopped in Chilton a week ago as the driver was alleged to have not been wearing his seatbelt.
He was arrested for theft of the vehicle and driving while disqualified.
