TWO vehicles were involved in a crash in Newton Aycliffe during rush hour today (Wednesday, May 18).
Police were called at around 7.45am following the collision between a VW Golf and Hyundai i10 on the junction of Greenfield Way and Meadowfield Way.
Names and addresses were exchanged by the drivers and there was no report of any serious injuries.
A police spokesman said: "There may have been one or two people with minor injuries but if anyone was treated it would have been at the scene."
A number of police vehicles, fire engine and ambulance attended.
The incident was closed by around 10am.
