In 2013 former Darlington resident Paul Armstrong complained about the upkeep of the cemetery and lack of respect for grave sites.
I WENT to see a friend's grave in North Road Cemetery, Darlington, recently.
The first thing you see when going through gate is a old abandoned car, the two houses in the grounds have just been left to fall in disrepair as has the once-lovely chapel.
I would think given the cost of a funeral more of the money should be spent on cemetery maintenance.
