RESEARCHERS will show off their work at a city library later this week (Thursday, April 28).

Postgraduate students from Durham University will exhibit their research in the form of illustrated posters during a one-day show at Clayport Library, Millennium Place, Durham.

Members of the public are invited to attend and view the posters before voting for their favourite.

Some of the researchers will be present to explain their work and answer questions.

Durham University chancellor Sir Thomas Allen will present prizes during an afternoon ceremony, including one to the viewing public’s favourite.

Organisers hope to showcase the diversity and breadth of research being undertaken at the university.

Topics will range from keeping babies safe as they sleep to the locations of Roman forts on the west Cumbrian coast.

The exhibition will run from 10am to 3pm on Thursday (April 28). The prize giving ceremony will be at 2.30pm.

Entry is free and open to all.
