SUSPECTED cocaine and cannabis with a street value of over £70,000 was recovered from a vehicle on the A19 today (Friday April 15).
The vehicle was stopped close to Crathorne, North Yorkshire, and searched. A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs, with intent to supply, and she remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Stephen Kappel said: "I am extremely pleased with the results of today as it has removed drugs that would have caused harm to the Cleveland area.
"£70,000 is an excessive amount of drugs to stop from being sold on the streets."
