Europe's largest equestrian show in region

EUROPE'S largest equestrian touring theatre show made its debut in County Durham today.
The Spirit of the Horse company presented its production of Chimera for the first time at Dalton Park, Murton which will be followed by further performances tomorrow and Sunday.
The family show is an equestrian fantasy blending dance, drama, comedy and outstanding horsemanship into one dazzling entertainment package.
The action-packed world-class show is being staged in a specially designed 2000-seater moveable theatre with state of the art lighting and sound equipment.
The production centres on the classic legend of Chimera, the mythological beast of evil and has been created and directed by Phillip Gandey, one of Europe's most respected directors of live family entertainment.
Performances will be held at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm to-day and at 3pm and 6pm tomorrow.
