A CHARITY art exhibition is being held in the North-East.
The 44th Charity Art Exhibition is organised by Castleside Art Club and held at Castleside Village Hall, near Consett in County Durham.
It started today (Sunday, Mar 27) and will continue tomorrow (Easter Monday) from 10am to 5pm.
There are about 200 paintings and prints available for sale along with homemade refreshments, cakes and pieces and a Cadbury’s Crème Egg for every child.
Club member Allen Carr said: “There is always a warm and friendly atmosphere which makes for a worthwhile visit.”
The funds raised will go towards helping local charities and the village hall.
There is a 20p admission charge.
