One man cut free after car accident
ONE man has been freed by firefighters and taken to hospital by ambulance after a road accident involving two cars tonight.
It happened at 7.34pm on the road towards Barden Moor near the Halfpenny House junction with the A6108 Richmond to Leyburn road.
Fire crews from Leyburn and Colburn attended. They had to cut the roof off one of the cars to remove an injured male passenger.
He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital by ambulance
