A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious head injuries in a crash in Middlesbrough yesterday (Thursday, February 11).

Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision, involving a motorcycle and a Skoda Fabia, on Ladgate Lane at the crossroad junction with Marton Road, Middlesbrough.

The incident happened at about 4.40pm.

The 24-year-old male motorcyclist, from the Eston area, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital, where he remains in a ‘critical but stable’ condition.

Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the collision who has not already spoken to police is asked to contact PC Jayson Morris from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 25238.
