Sensational 60s show plays Billingham Forum Theatre

HERMAN’S Hermits, Chris Farlowe, Steve Ellis the voice of Love Affair, Union Gapuk and New Amen Corner with Alan Mosca from Freddie and The Dreamers as the host make up the latest Sensational 60s show, which tours to Billingham Forum Theatre in April.

This line-up from the 1960s delivers nostalgia and hits such as Hermans Hermits' I’m Into Something Good, Something Is Happening, No Milk Today, I’m Henry The 8th, Silhouettes andMrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter. Chris Farlowe is the voice of Out Of Time, Handbags and Gladrags, Let The Heartaches Begin and Reach Out I’ll Be There. The Union Gapuk provide Young Girl, Lady Willpower, Woman Woman and The New Amen Corner are the creators of Bend Me Shape Me and If Paradise Is Half As Nice.

Herman’s Hermits dominated the 1960s scene from 1964 and chalked up more than 23 top 20 singles, ten hit albums, three major movies and, to date, have sold 75,000,000 records worldwide.

Originally Chris Farlowe and The Thunderbirds, the singer started out in the late 1950s and later moved on to perform all over Europe and still does to this day. Formed in 1967, Love Affair stormed into the charts with Everlasting Love when Steve was 17 years of age, but with his distinctive powerful voice he and the band notched up further hits, Rainbow Valley, Bringing On Back The Good Times and A Day Without Love.
