Warning to keep property secure after spate of shed burglaries
POLICE in Barnard Castle have issued a warning to residents to keep property secure following shed burglaries. Officers said there have been a number of shed burglaries in the past few days in Butterknowle, Wycliffe and Headlam. Various items have been stolen including a lawn mower, tools and horse tack. Anyone with information or who witnessed anything suspicious is asked to call non-emergency 101.
