Five teenagers were lucky to escape without serious injuries from this crash near Gateshead
POLICE say five teenagers arre lucky to be alive after the car they were travelling in crashed last night.
The accident happened on the A167 at Kimblesworth, between Durham and Chester-le-Street.
A spokesman for Durham road policing unit said: "(It) could have easily been a mutiple fatality.
"Miraculously the 5 teenage occupants escaped with minor injuries only. Please slow down. Speed kills."
