A FAMILY have added to the fundraising total for their seriously ill six-year-old son with an evening of musical fun.
The music quiz in aid of Muscles for Mitchell, who suffers from a rare muscular condition, added a further £242 to their charity total of over £12,000 this year.
The quiz, which took place on Thursday, November 19, at the Forum on Borough Road, Darlington was hosted by Mitchell’s dad, Steve Tinkler and Forum volunteer James Watson and involved ten rounds of musical madness.
Mr Tinkler, 42, a mechanical engineer, said: "We are really pleased with tonight and with everyone coming down to support us and for all the raffle prize donations."
All the money raised is donated to registered charity Harrison’s Fund, which ensures the funds go directly towards researching a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
