A TIME-TRAVELLING magic duo will perform at Barningham Village Hall, in Teesdale, on Friday, December 4.
Set in a Victorian parlour, the show, entitled Parlour Tricks, is fully interactive and family friendly.
The duo, Morgan and West, are winners of Penn and Teller’s “Fool Us” and write their own material which is built around strong narrative and detailed characterisation.
The pair have collected a clutch of comedy awards in the UK, with the show coming under the banner of the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme that brings professional theatre and music to village halls and community venues across the North Pennines.
Robin Brooks, a member of Barningham Village Hall Committee, said: “This is Morgan and West’s only show in Teesdale and it promises to be a cracking evening of magic, deception and illusion.
“I defy anyone to leave the Village Hall unamused or unamazed. Just come along and wonder, How on earth did they do that?”
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £9.50 for adults, £4 for children and £20 for families.
To book tickets call 01833-621203.
Show goers are welcome to bring their own drinks.
