POLICE have reopened part of the A1(M) in County Durham after it was closed due to an incident.
It is understood the air ambulance landed at the scene, which was between junctions 59 and 60.
Durham Police Road Policing Unit said: "The A1m is now reopen between j59 and j60. Thanks for everyone's patience. It was essential to close the road to ensure motorists' safety."
