A DRIVER escaped injury after crashing into traffic lights on Tuesday morning.
The rush hour incident saw police called to the busy roundabout on Grange Road in Darlington shortly before 9am.
The driver hit traffic lights at the pedestrian crossing, opposite Sainsbury’s car park, seriously damaging her car.
A spokeswoman from Darlington Police said the woman involved had escaped uninjured.
