A NATIONAL newspaper has claimed Darlington-based businessman and former Dragon’s Den star Duncan Bannatyne is heading for the jungle.
The Sun reported that the former Dragon's Den star is to take part in the next series of ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’.
A source said that he will be joined in Australia by his 35-year-old girlfriend Nigora Whitehorn before filming and that he was “really excited” at the prospect of appearing on the show hosted by Geordie duo Ant and Dec.
However, a spokesman for Mr Bannatyne said the report was “speculation” but would not be drawn further on the matter.
Other celebrities linked with the new series include Saltburn’s X Factor winner James Arthur and former Newcastle and Boro star Paul Gascoigne.
ITV said it would not comment on the line-up until the official unveiling ahead of the show which starts next month.
