TWO charitable foundations have teamed up for the fourth year running to give out cash to good causes.

TM Radio's Cash for Kids and the Tees Valley Community Foundation will give out £100,000 to deserving causes, over three themed grant rounds this year.

The first round in March saw £25,000 awarded to help children achieve their potential in their chosen sport or hobby.

The second round saw a further £25,000 given away to support summer activities for disadvantaged families.

Now, a pot of £50,000 is available to groups across Teesside in this final round, aimed at providing equipment and facilities for local groups working to support disadvantaged and disabled children.

Rolling out the Rewards coincides with Cash for Kids’ ‘Mission Christmas’ toy appeal.

The toy appeal is the charity’s biggest campaign and last year raised over £1.8 million, helping over 36,000 children across the North East who would not have received any presents otherwise due to poverty or neglect.

Applications for Rolling Out The Rewards are open now. The closing date for all applications is 12 noon on Monday 19th October 2015.
