NATURE reserve RSPB Saltholme is holding a Wild Halloween event later this month.
Children starting their half term holiday will be able to take part in trails and activities, and there will be a storyteller on hand to spin some yarns, on October 24 and 25.
The Halloween weekend kicks off a week of activities at the reserve for the half term holidays.
There will be a "hibernation trail" and the last chance to go pond dipping this season, to see what creatures live beneath the water at the reserve.
Visitor experience officer Lydia Tague said: “This year we’re really excited as we’ll be challenging the bravest of our visitors to enter our web and see if they can get away with our spider’s treasure."
The reserve is open from 10am until 5pm. Children’s activity passes are £5 or £3 for RSPB members. Reserve entrance is free for RSPB members or £5 per car for non-members
