TICKETS are on sale for a charity auction raising money for a young mother who has terminal cervical cancer.

An evening of entertainment takes place at the Big Club, in Newton Aycliffe, on November 13, in aid of the Jade and Oscar’s Angels charity, set-up by the friends and family of Jade Pateman, from Shildon, in County Durham, who was diagnosed with the condition in May, aged just 21.

The charity aims to raise money for Miss Pateman’s two-year-old son Oscar’s future.

Among the goods on offer at the fundraising auction are signed Cheryl Cole perfume and a year’s subscription to Netflix.

Seventies-themed entertainment group Groovy Street will be performing and there will be a tribute act to Mrs Brown, of Mrs Brown’s Boys fame.

Organiser Tammy Allinson appealed for donations of raffle prizes for the event.

To donate, or to buy tickets, which cost £4, call Ms Allinson on 07719-750498 or email her through the website jadeandoscarsanges.weebly.com.
