GRAEME STORM’S bid for glory at the Alfred Dunhill Links came to a frustrating end this afternoon.
After three below-par rounds had put him in contention in Scotland, his final round at St Andrews was not quite as effective and he posted a two-over 74.
That saw the Hartlepool pro – who bogeyed eight, 16 and 17 as well as birdie the tenth - finish outside of the top 30 just a week after his second placing at the European Open.
Rob Dinwiddie also had a disappointing final round. The Barnard Castle golfer, who played the Old Course earlier this year in his first Open, posted 77 to finish with a three-under total overall having started with three positive rounds himself.
