YOUNG buccaneers perfected their pirate impressions as part of an international day of celebration.
To mark International Talk Like a Pirate Day, which takes place tomorrow (Saturday, September 19), visitors to the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, came dressed as the scourges of the Seven Seas.
The centre’s soft play staff also came dressed as pirates and wenches and hosted a range of pirate-themed activities, including making a treasure box and pin the key on the treasure box.
The session supported the Change4Life 60 active minutes scheme, which recommends that children aged five to 16 take part in at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
