A MUSEUM is offering people the chance to learn a traditional trade.
Killhope, the North of England Lead Mining Museum, in Weardale, County Durham, is running a blacksmith workshop to give people the chance to learn the basics of metal-working.
The session will take place from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday, 25 October and anyone who is interested is advised to book early.
It will be led by Chris Askew, the museum’s resident blacksmith. Students will be learning basic skills and will make their own poker to take home.
The workshop costs £50 per person and includes all materials, lunch and refreshments.
