A MAN in his 40s suffered a broken elbow in a hit and run collision yesterday (Monday).
Police are appealing for information after a Ford Mondeo collided with a pedestrian and three parked cars on Wilson Street in Hartlepool, at about 6.30pm.
The Mondeo was travelling from Mulgrave Road on to Wilson Street when it hit the 42-year-old male pedestrian, who was taken to the One Life Hospital in Hartlepool to be treated for a fractured left elbow.
Three parked cars, including a Volkswagen Golf, a Ford Transit van and a Ford Focus, were also hit.
The driver of the Mondeo drove off after the accident.
Cleveland Police said they were trying to trace the driver and urged them to come forward.
Anyone else who may have witnessed the collision, or who might know who the driver is, is asked to contact PC Tina Lackenby from the Cleveland and Durham specialist operations unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 147935.
