POLICE are appealing for information after a collision left three people needing hospital treatment.
The incident involving a blue Citroen Berlingo and a Talbot Rambler motor home happened yesterday, (Monday, August 3), at about 7.30am on the A1085 Trunk Road, around 200 metres west of the Steel House roundabout junction in Dormanstown, near Redcar.
The 65-year-old male driver of the motor home suffered suspected spinal injuries and the 61-year-old woman passenger suffered collapsed lung, fractured ribs and suspected spinal injuries.
The 35-year-old male driver of the Citroen suffered a fractured pelvis, broken thumb and facial injuries. All three injured motorists were taken to James Cook University hospital where they are receiving treatment for serious but not life threatening injuries.
Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Jayson Morris from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 133338.
