Auckland Area League

(Sponsored by ATAG Cable Solutions and B.S & P Bearings Ltd)

The League held its AGM at Coundon Miners Arms and was given the good news that last years sponsors were going to continue for the coming season. The meeting received a lot of interest in the number of teams to start the coming season on the 9 September 2015, but there is still space for one team to complete the line up.

The major decision made at the meeting was to change from the World Rules format to the latest and very popular, Blackball rules. It was agreed that a taster evening would to be held at Spennymoor Top Hat on a date to be arranged, for players to familiarise themselves with the rules and understand the main differences between the two formats.

Anyone who is interested playing this new rule format or would like to join the league or requires any further information should contact the league secretary, Darren Briggs on 07708926300.
