FERRYHILL’S summer fair is set to get underway this weekend.
The event will be held at Dean Bank Park on Sunday, August 2, from 11am until 4pm.
Arena events will include New Generations Dancers, line dancing, a pipe band and a dog show.
Characters from Frozen will also be present from noon until 1pm which will include a children’s ‘Frozen’ colouring competition.
The event will also have a junior fun fair, vintage cars, stalls, climbing tower, Pat’s Puppets, free face painting and inflatables.
The police will be carrying out bicycle marking, and a licensed bar, burger van, ice cream van and tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches will be available at the bowls pavilion.
Entry to the event and parking is free.
Anyone wishing to have a stall at the fair, provide static attractions or take part in the arena events should contact John Rogerson at the Town Hall on 01740-652157.
Applications forms for the fun dog show are available from the Town Hall or you can register on the day before 12.30pm.
