BOAT lovers took to the River Tees to compete in an annual charity race in Stockton.
Teams battled it out for victory in the event, in aid of autism charity Daisy Chain.
The weather was warm after a cloudy start, and many of the teams took a dip in the water to cool down once they had finished.
The event is a regular fundraiser, and has been running for 12 years.
Judith Haysmore, chief executive of the Norton-based charity, said: "The weather could have been a little kinder for us, but there were still plenty of spectators lining the river banks.
“That always improves the atmosphere as they cheer on their favourite teams.”
Teams from Barclays Doxy, Bell Trucks, Nifco, Thistle Hotel, Healthy High Street Stockton and RPD Builders took part. The Daisy Chain Boat Race trophy was won by the team representing Prestige Worldwide.
