BIKER HURT: A motorcyclist collided with a traffic island
THE A167 near Darlington was closed by police on Tuesday night after a motorcyclist collided with a traffic island.
The incident took place shortly before 11pm near Coatham Mundeville.
Durham Police said it was not believed that the motorcyclist had suffered serious injuries, and the road was expected to reopen shortly once the bike has been recovered.
