A CHESTER-le-Street artist’s pictures of Durham and the surrounding area are being exhibited in the city.
Naomi Blayney is having her first solo exhibition of pen and inks at St Cuthbert’s Society, South Bailey, throughout May.
Ms Blayney said: “I am privileged to have been invited to exhibit my work at my former Durham University college of St Cuthbert’s Society.
“I am a busy mum of a toddler living in Chester-le-Street. I grew up not far from there so the North-East holds a special place in my heart.
“The work on display in this exhibition features landscapes and architecture from across the region.
The exhibition runs from Saturday (May 2) until Friday, May 29.
It will be open between 2 and 4pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment.
Visitors will be able to see the artist at work on her latest picture at those times.
