MISSING MAN: Albert Smith
POLICE say a missing Houghton man has turned up safe and well.
Albert Smith, who is 70, was reported missing by his family at 3.30pm today.
Mr Smith has a heart condition and is on medication and officers were keen to locate him as soon as possible.
"Missing Houghton man 70-year-old Albert Smith has been found safe and well. Members of the public are thanked for their help," said a spokeswoman for Northumbria Police.
