A TEAM of young people will brave the bracing North Sea to raise money for Comic Relief 2015.
The sponsored dip, by youngsters from the Linx Project in Hemlington, Middlesbrough, will take place at Redcar Beach on Wednesday.
Ten teenagers and two staff from the project, which helps marginalised young people, will take part in the dip.
The project, based at the Recreation Centre on Cass House Road, receives funding from Comic Relief.
Tamara Robinson, a youth worker from Linx, said: “The young people benefit greatly and have been enthusiastic about giving something back.”
The group will be going for a fish and chip lunch and making a visit to the amusement arcades before the big dip.
