THEATRICAL youngsters can tread the boards and learn the trade at a new academy.
The Pauline Quirke Academy is set to open its latest branch in Darlington.
The performing arts school will allow children to harness their inner drama queens and hone their theatrical skills.
An open day will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College from 9.45am until 1pm on Sunday, May 10.
Young actors of the future are invited to get a flavour of the academy by joining in sample classes in musical theatre, comedy and drama and film and television.
Refreshments will be available and staff will be on hand to discuss opportunities at the academy.
