CHILDREN from Bedale Primary school teamed up with local estate agent George F White to celebrate Easter.

The company challenged year eight and nine pupils to make Easter egg decorations in a competition at the firm's office in Bedale.

Six winners were chosen from 76 pupils who entered, and they were all presented with chocolate eggs in thanks.

Sheryl Sowden, George F White’s valuer and manager, said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with the students and we’ve seen some fantastic designs.

"As a local property agent we want to support our local community and the eggs are currently taking pride of place in our front window at the Bedale office, bringing some Easter joy to the office and its surroundings.”

A winner was chosen from each class by Ms Sowden, Jessica Hall, office Apprentice and sales negotiators, Alexandra Jones and Rebecca Bullas.

Teacher Karen Johnson said: “It was nice to be approached by a local business and get the children involved with Easter activities.

"The egg designs were brilliant and I am pleased all of them have been put on display at George F White for everyone to see.”
