STOCKTON Borough Council is reminding residents that they have until Monday, March 16 to give their opinion on two important planning matters affecting the borough, including the Local Plan.

The Regeneration and Environment Local Plan outlines the council’s strategy for future development and land use, while the Community Infrastructure Levy Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule introduces the levy that the council can charge on new developments dependent on their size and type.

The consultations are entering their final week.

Comments relating to either consultation should be made in writing and emailed to spatialplans@stockton.gov.uk or posted to Spatial Planning Section, Planning Services, Municipal Buildings, Church Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1LD.

Anyone requiring further information on the content of the consultations before contributing should contact Stockton Council’s Spatial Planning team on 01642 526050 or spatialplans@stockton.gov.uk

All relevant documents are available at stockton.gov.uk/spatialplanning and also at all libraries across the borough.

Any residents that are interested in sharing their views on local issues can join Stockton Council’s Viewpoint panel. For more information, visit www.stockton.gov.uk/viewpoint
