A MAN has been arrested after an alleged assault in a Yorkshire Dales village.
Police were called to reports of an altercation in Redmire, near Leyburn, at 3.55pm on Tuesday, March 3.
A man in his 60s had suffered facial injuries and was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was later arrested on bail pending further enquiries.
