FOUR athletes from a Darlington school are hoping for sporting success after qualifying for a national cross country championship.
Jack Baines, Katie Noble, Mikayla Jordens, and Emily Alderson, from Carmel College, in Darlington, have qualified for the English Schools Cross Country Championships.
They competed in the Inter Counties Cross Country Championships, held at Temple Park, in South Shields, earlier this month, and will now represent the county at the national championships in Blackburn, next month.
Students Harry Crawshaw, Nathan Ward, Megan Noble, Ryan Wells, Alana Prior and Christian Brown also competed in the inter counties competition.
