AFTER heavy snowfalls across the region overnight, Northern Echo photographer Tom Banks was granted access to Durham Cathedral's main tower to get a bird's eye view of Durham City blanketed in snow.
Meanwhile, Northern Echo photographer Sarah Caldecott managed to capture Upper Teesdale at just the right moment as sunlight was broke through the clouds.
