POLICE wearing riot shields were called to remove a man from a guest house on Saturday (January 24). Cleveland Police were responding to concerns about the man's behaviour at Beech Guest House on Borough Road, Middlesbrough, and officers arrived at 10.45am. Officers cordoned the area off and entered into a dialogue with the man and eventually ten police vans and cars were at the scene. Police entered the building and the man, who appeared to be bloodied, was led away at about 3.25pm. A police spokeswoman confirmed that officers attended the scene.
