A NEW exhibition by a North-East artist has opened in a cathedral restaurant.
Sandra Haney has a range of linocut and woodcut works and iPad sketches on display at the Undercroft restaurant at Durham Cathedral.
The 55-year-old, who has lived in Durham for 15 years, produced the pieces over the last couple of years.
Many local scenes are depicted, including the cathedral itself, Durham’s Cafe Rouge restaurant, Elvet Bridge and Framwelgate Bridge and the Grainger Market in Newcastle.
There are also scenes from France, which Ms Haney produced while on holiday.
The exhibition is open until the end of March and entry is free.
