Woman killed in road accident named as Vikki Tinkler from Newton Aycliffe
A WOMAN who died in a road traffic accident on Friday has been named.
Vikki Tinkler was struck by a vehicle on Stephenson Way, Newton Aycliffe, at about 8.35 pm.
The 30-year-old, from Newton Aycliffe, was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbough with serious injuries, but died yesterday afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them by ringing 101.
