RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say on the future of housing in Hartlepool.
People are being asked to complete an online questionnaire which will be used to help draft Hartlepool’s Housing Strategy for 2015-2020.
The draft strategy, which will be ready for consultation in April next year, is being prepared by Hartlepool’s Housing Partnership.
Karen Kelly, Hartlepool Borough Council’s principal housing strategy officer, said: “By completing the online questionnaire people can help us decide what our housing priorities should be.
“As a partnership we are always keen to find out how we can improve services for our residents.”
The partnership is a group of key organisations responsible for ensuring access to good quality and affordable housing in neighbourhoods and communities where people want to live.
The online questionnaire, which will be available until January 10, has been developed to help the council collect resident’s views about the issues and priorities that the new housing strategy should focus on.
It can be accessed at www.hartlepool.gov.uk/housingstrategy
Alternatively, people can obtain a copy by calling Karen Kelly on 01429 284117 or emailing Karen.kelly@hartlepool.gov.uk
