HARDY souls are in for a shocking night when they venture out on a spooky walk next week.

The ‘once upon a nightmare’ themed event will see a host of weird and wonderful characters inhabit Preston Park Museum and Grounds for one night only.

Councillor Ken Dixon, Stockton Council’s cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: “For those who dare to take part Preston Park will be the scene for a terrifyingly strange world, where surprises lurk around every corner.

"Don’t miss out on the chance to get tickets for this fun family event which will be sure to excite, engage and ignite the senses.”

The Halloween spooky walk, which is organised by Stockton Council, is a family event, suitable for people of all ages.

The walk will take visitors through the grounds of Preston Park and the adjoining woods where a strange and spooky world has been created for all those who dare to take part.

Ticketed wristbands cost £4.50 each. Under-fives are free, although children under five still require a wristband to gain entry.

The wristbands are available from Preston Park Museum and Grounds, Rediscover Stockton Shop on Stockton High Street and the customer contact centre at Stockton Central Library.
