ALMOST 50 new homes will be built for vulnerable adults and the elderly near Middlesbrough.
The £5.9m development is on a site next to Barnaby House in Eston, and will include 13 bungalows for older people and 36 home for local adults who need support.
The plans are being put on show in Barnaby House tomorrow from 3pmto 7pm and staff from Tees Valley Housing, Redcar & Cleveland Council and the architects will be answering questions.
Martin Hawthorne, from Tees Valley Housing, which is developing the site in partnership with Redcar & Cleveland Council, said: "The homes for vulnerable adults will provide much-needed supported living for local people.
"Suitable homes for older people are also very important for Eston. By providing both types of housing on this one site, we will be fulfilling two key needs in the area."
The new development has received £1.4m of Homes and Communities Agency funding.
