POLICE are appealing for help in tracing distinctive jewellery stolen from Norton, near Stockton. The items, which were bought in Dubai, were stolen from an address on Lorrain Grove. It is not known when they were taken. They are described as a bear's claw necklace with a turquoise and coral stone, a 14-carat gold ring with a sapphire, an Ethopian silver chain, an 18-carat gold foxtail chain with two pendants - one an Arabic coffee pot and one an 18-carat Ethiopian figurehead. Anyone who might know the whereabouts of these items is asked to contact PC Cheryl Hall on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
