STUDENTS have launched a new essays periodical.
The Durham Review of Books is inspired by the London Review of Books and will carry essays and articles on a wide range of topics by students at Durham University.
The first issue, launched this week, focuses on justice and the next edition, due in December, will explore myth.
A spokesman said: “The project draws inspiration from The London Review of Books and hopes to present an intriguing and challenging set of articles on an eclectic range of topics including literature, philosophy and current affairs.
“It is hoped that the publication will attract readers from diverse interest bases due to its irreverent yet considered style.”
The Durham Review of Books is available in print and online at durhamreview.com
