PEOPLE are being urged to take the opportunity to have their say on the future of housing in Hartlepool.
They are being asked to complete an online questionnaire before a consultation exercise ends on Friday, September 5.
The consultation is being run by Hartlepool’s Housing Partnership, a group of organisations responsible for ensuring access to good quality and affordable housing in areas where people want to live.
Karen Kelly, Hartlepool Council’s principal housing strategy officer, said: “As a partnership we are keen to find out how we can improve services for our residents. By completing the online questionnaire people can help us decide what our housing priorities should be.”
The questionnaire aims to discover people’s housing priorities and aspirations so that it can ensure future strategies address their needs.
It can be accessed at surveymonkey.com/s/HP2014-HOP
Alternatively, people can obtain a copy by calling Karen Kelly on 01429-284117 or emailing karen.kelly@hartlepool.gov.uk
People who complete a questionnaire will be entered into a free draw offering a television and shopping vouchers as prizes.
As part of the consultation exercise, a Face the Public event was also staged in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre’s Central Square on Friday, August 15.
